What’s For Dinner Baby?

Inspired by the beautiful recipes in the Easy Peasy Cookbook, I decided to take on a project of my own for my 7th month old: organic cauliflower and steamed ‘schol’ filet with an avocado cilantro sauce. Worth a try right?

The cookbook (in Dutch) is a definite must have during your pregnancy and while breastfeeding, but also when the baby starts eating solids and when he enters into toddlerhood. Add it to your LOLA & FITZ wishlist or buy it here!

1/2 organic cauliflower
1/2 organic avocado
a small piece of fresh ‘schol’ filet
1 tsp bio avocado oil
a little bit of cilantro (my personal favorite, but you can also use basil)
little bit of water

Steam the cauliflower and the fish, and coarsely mash them up. For the steaming I used my bamboo steam basket. Old school, but it does the trick. Peel the avocado and mash it up with a little bit of cilantro. Add a little bit of water if it’s still too coarse. Serve.

Needless to say, he loved it.
